Regain youthful shape
Your body is your temple! So true, but so not treated as such! As the time goes by, and life events and choices you’ve made in the past start to catch up with you, you slowly come to the realization that your body have been neglected, mistreated, used and abused. Kudos to the ones that didn’t let that happen, however, the rest of us now have to develop some strategies to regain and maybe reverse some of the neglect we bestowed upon our “temple”. Can this actually be achieved? After much research into this subject I have found out that there is much you can do to improve yourself, yaaayyy, doing the happy dance!!
Hydration has to be the most important element to, attain youthful body. It improves your body from within. Properly hydrated body improves kidney function, which in turn frees up the liver, (the fat burning organ, by the way) able to do its job properly. Bonus! Water helps your body burn fat, and supress hunger, making you thinner. Bonus! Water contains no calories. Bonus! It’s all natural. Bonus! Now, check out the little bonus inserted into the next two paragraphs to help you with your fitness goals. Hint: highlighted in red!
Fitness should be incorporated into your daily routine if you want to stay agile, mobile, and able to bend down to tie your shoes and enjoy daily activities with friends and family. Fitness can take many forms, but it must be something you enjoy personally, otherwise it won’t be sustainable. I think I tried and bought every fitness gadget that ever came down the infomercial pipeline!!! Gotta love those infomercials, lol! In defense of infomercials, they offer a lot of fantastic gadgets that really work, the beauty being: you can use them in your own home, on your own time, at your convenience. That’s a great motivator to keep you going.
There is a TV show called “Sit and be fit”. It’s about exercises being done while sitting down. What caught my attention was that they seemed so easy, but the movements were slow, deliberate and very controlled. I decided to follow along, and was surprised how effective the exercises were. I highly recommend this show, and it’s easy to incorporate this into your fitness program. This can be especially effective for people that are not too mobile. I highly recommend this form of fitness, because it gives you a varied program that’s easy to follow along. Variety is the spice of life, right?
I think the secret to rejuvenating your body lies in putting your muscles to work. The more you use them, the more toned your body gets. Toned, fit, agile bodies exude youthfulness and confidence, don’t you agree? Here’s to your health.
