It was only recently that coconut oil has re-emerged as “good” oil. This was mainly due to bad rap by certain segments of the food industry in the 70’s. Coconut oil, made up of medium-chain fatty acids is a heart healthy food and body friendly. Virgin organic coconut oil prevents sagging skin and wrinkles by penetrating into deeper layers of skin.
Antimicrobial: Protects from harmful microbes. Apply daily between, under and around the toes to kill athlete’s foot, and prevent future occurrence.
Anti inflammatory: Prevents destruction of tissue caused by inflammation that can lead to disease.
Antioxidant: Protects skin from free radicals and prevents their formation.
Makeup remover: Gentle on the skin, no harmful chemicals added. Apply to your face, then wipe off with tissue.
Moisturizer: Protects skin from elements by keeping moisture in. More effective than body lotion, and so inexpensive. Smells very sweet.
Lip balm: Apply to lips as needed. It helps heal and moisturize them. Yummylicious!
Natural toothpaste: Mix equal amounts of baking soda and coconut oil for a healthier and whiter smile. However, I find that to be a bit too oily. It leaves toothbrush and hands greasy even after using soap and water (due to its moisturizing properties).
